Lets get it clear, it is still Spring!

If you go to East High, then the topic of weather has been pretty popular lately. Not only for our crazy winters, but Spring time temps. Just a few weeks ago we were all enjoying mid 70 degree temperatures and now this! Dark, dreary, wet, and a little cool.  But that is spring in Iowa. Most all of us wish it was summer, but in reality it is not. But some people cant just accept it. All I ever hear now-a-days is complaining, "It's  too cold, it rains too much." What is the deal? Must our teachers re-teach 1st grade, April showers bring May flowers.                                                      

(Don't mind my grass, it is a weird type that takes a while to get green. Anyone know what it is called, it is really thick and coarse?)

Anyways, I am starting to feel like people are getting anxious to bring out the shorts... a little too anxious. Just an FYI to everyone who thinks the 50's are appropriate for shorts, your are troubled. It is currently April, which means it is Spring. During Iowa springs it is cool and rainy. (I love rainy days.)

As much as I too wish it was 80 & sunny, sadly it is not; keep the shorts in the dresser. Summer will be here soon enough. Lets enjoy that we actually have above freezing temperatures and stop the complaining! We live in Iowa, get used to it. ;)

                    Side-note: Please for my eyesight and the sanity of everyone, only wear shorts that are flattering to your body. Need I say more, you all know what I am talking about.
