Just today while surfing around cbsnews.com I came upon what I find as a crazy piece of news. A 6 year-old boy brought a gun to a Texas elementary school, luckily no one was seriously injured or killed. This kind of news gets me thinking, what kind of world do we live in? In my opinion a 6 year-old boy should have absolutely no access to any kind of weapon. Most parents of youngster won’t even let their children use a butter knife, so how did this kid get his hands on a loaded gun.
I know this kid probably didn’t know how huge the repercussions of his actions could be, so I believe his parents should definitely be reviewed. I worry about today’s young generation, we live in a crazy world, children and even teens like me need proper guidance. As an uncle to a fantastic 3 year-old niece, I worry about her future. I hope everyone can look at themselves and see if they are setting a good example for the young ones in their life. I think our armed weapons laws should be re-evaluated to protect our and the next generations future. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/04/19/national/main20055336.shtml?tag=stack
I wonder what happened to the parents?
